Orchidaceae

I'll start off this so-called-my-journey-to-photography blog with a Catleya Orchid which I took last July 11, 2008 in our house in antipolo. My first few shots using my newly purchased wide converter and I can say that I'm happy with the results.

Orchidaceae, also called the Orchid family, is the largest family of the flowering plants . Its name is derived from the genus Orchis.
